A project that brings education, sustainability, and the community closer together is coming to Venâncio Aires.
The Sustainable School Project, developed by the Santa Cruz do Sul Foundation for Environmental Protection (FUPASC), will be implemented at Alfredo Scherer Municipal Elementary School through a partnership between the foundation, the Municipality of Venâncio Aires, CTA, and partner companies.

CTA played a key role in bringing the initiative to the municipality, recognizing the project’s importance and mobilizing different stakeholders to make its implementation possible.
The company helped build the partnership and participated in discussions with local government authorities, helping turn the proposal into a concrete initiative focused on environmental education.

“For CTA, this project represents another important step in our journey as a company committed to social and environmental responsibility, with an emphasis on knowledge and the education of future generations,” says Edson Menezes, CTA’s Agricultural Sustainability Manager.

In practice, the Sustainable School Project transforms the school environment into a space for learning and participation, engaging students with topics such as waste management, water, biodiversity, food, climate change, and responsible consumption.

The initiative reinforces the importance of collaboration across different sectors to expand positive impacts within the community and help educate a generation that is more aware of its relationship with the environment.

CTA. Commitment to people, responsibility for the future.
