At CTA, every person is valued for what they do, for their contributions, and for the role they play in building a more humane, respectful, and welcoming work environment.

In this video, we learn about the journey of Bárbara Joana Haupt, who began her apprenticeship at CTA in 2013 and, after completing that stage, was hired as a permanent employee in January 2015. Today, at age 38, she works as a General Services Assistant, contributing daily to our team with her talent, dedication, and cheerfulness.

Her journey also embodies the purpose of “Capacitar,” CTA’s Inclusion Program for People with Disabilities—an initiative that seeks to expand opportunities, promote autonomy, and strengthen inclusion in the workplace.

Alongside her father, Lauro Itor Haupt, and her brother-in-law, Thiago Ricardo da Silva, Bárbara shares a bit of her journey and shows how opportunities, recognition, and a sense of belonging are integral to building a truly inclusive environment.

From August 21 to 28, National Week for People with Intellectual and Multiple Disabilities reinforces the importance of promoting inclusion, respect, opportunities, and participation in all areas of society.

Inclusive environments do not turn people into examples of overcoming adversity. They identify abilities, foster a sense of belonging, and enable each professional to reach their full potential.

A strong company grows more sustainably when it appreciates people in all their diversity.

Commitment to people, responsibility for the future.
